  1. Prep. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment and set it to the side.
  2. Melt the white chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips for 2 minutes, making sure to stir every 30 seconds until it becomes smooth and fully melted. Be careful not to overheat them because they can seize up and become hard.
  3. Coat the cereal. In a large bowl, place the Chex cereal, and drizzle the melted chocolate over it. Gently toss to ensure an even coating. Transfer the coated cereal onto the lined baking sheet, spreading it out into a smooth, even layer.

  1. Add the mix-ins. Spread the remaining ingredients on top starting with the largest items such as the pretzels and finishing with the smallest such as the sprinkles. Work quickly so the mix-ins stick to the white chocolate coating. When ready to serve break it apart.

Recipe Variations

  • Add additional mix-ins: Try adding some peanuts or other types of nuts, marshmallows, or even other cereals such as Cheerios or Chex flavors.
  • Coat the entire mix with white chocolate. Instead of just coating the Chex cereal you can combine the other mix-in and coat them all in the melted white chocolate.
